Biography

The Rumjacks are an Australian Celtic punk band from Sydney formed in 2008. The ensemble achieved professional recognition with the track “An Irish Pub Song” (2011) from their debut studio album, Gangs of New Holland (2010), which received more than 85 million views on YouTube. They released the extended plays Hung, Drawn & Portered (2009) and Sound as a Pound (2009) and received support from groups including U.K. Subs and GBH. Their recording career includes the studio albums Sober & Godless (2015) and Sleepin' Rough (2016). In 2018, they released the studio recording Saints Preserve Us! (2018), which featured collaborations with Paul McKenzie and Mickey Rickshaw. The ensemble performed at festivals such as the Jarocin Festival, Boomtown, and South by Southwest. Following the departure of vocalist Frankie McLaughlin in 2020, they added singer Mike Rivkees and released the studio recordings Hestia (2021) and Dead Anthems (2025).
