Street Dogs, an American punk rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, was formed in 2002 by former Dropkick Murphys singer Mike McColgan. The band released a seven-song demo before signing with CrossCheck Records in 2003 and releasing their debut album Savin Hill. Their second album, Back to the World, followed in 2005, achieving critical acclaim internationally. In February 2008, Street Dogs signed with Hellcat Records and released their fourth album, State of Grace. They continued to tour extensively, including appearances on the Vans Warped Tour in 2005, 2008, and 2011. The band's fifth album, Street Dogs, was released in August 2010. In November 2012, Mike McColgan announced a break from recording and touring. The band officially disbanded in early 2020, but reunited for performances in 2024.
