Biography

The Berzerker, an Australian metal band from Melbourne, was formed in 1995. The group gained attention through remixes of death metal songs by Deicide and Morbid Angel. They then signed with Earache Records. Their debut album, The Berzerker, released on April 10, 2000. The band's lineup initially used masks but later abandoned this concept. Their album Dissimulate was released on August 26, 2002, featuring the song "No One Wins" with a music video. Following tours with bands like Dying Fetus and Immolation, The Berzerker released their next albums, World of Lies and Animosity, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. Their album The Reawakening was self-released under Berserker Industries in 2008. The band ceased activities in October 2009, with no further updates or releases until a potential comeback announcement in December 2023.
