Biography

Student Rick was an American pop punk and emo band from South Bend, Indiana. The group consisted of Adam Reiter (guitar and vocals), Brett Jones (guitar and vocals), Jason Pavilanis (bass), and Zach Davis (drums). They began their journey in 1998 when Adam Reiter met Brett Jones at school. After recording a demo tape in 2000, the band's lineup stabilized with the addition of Jason Pavilanis and Zach Davis. Their breakthrough came with the release of an EP in 2001, which caught the attention of Victory Records. The band signed to Victory Records in 2001 and released their debut album, Soundtrack for a Generation, in 2001. Notable songs from this album include “Falling for You”, which was featured in video games such as Aggressive Inline and Amped 2. Creative differences led to their disbandment in 2002.
