Biography

Spitalfield was formed in Chicago, Illinois, in 1998 by vocalist Mark Rose, drummer Drew Brown, guitarist Daniel Lowder, bassist T.J. Minich, and guitarist Terry Hahin. The group first attracted attention with The Cloak & Dagger Club EP released in 2002, followed by the single “I Loved the Way She Said ‘L.A.’” in 2003. In 2003 they released their debut album Remember Right Now, followed by Stop Doing Bad Things (2005) and Better Than Knowing Where You Are (2006). The band signed to Victory Records, sold over 130,000 records, toured nine countries across three continents, and disbanded in 2007. Subsequent re‑formations produced the 2025 single “Remembering Right Now” and the EP Play + Record.
