Biography

Spiritual Cramp, an American alternative band from San Francisco, was formed in 2017 by singer Michael Bingham and bassist Mike Fenton. The duo had previously played together in Creative Adult. Completing the lineup were guitarists Jacob Breeze and Stewart Kuhlo, percussionist Max Wickham, and drummer Blaine Patrick. In their inaugural year, Spiritual Cramp released their first EP, Mass Hysteria. The following year saw the release of another EP, Police State, followed by the compilation Television in 2018 and the EP Here Come More Bad News in 2021. Early in 2023, Spiritual Cramp signed with Blue Grape Music and released their self-titled debut album, Spiritual Cramp, followed by a headlining tour of North America. In early 2024, they were featured on Kerrang's list "The Sound of 2024." Their third studio album, Rude, was released in October 2025.
