Biography

The Bobby Lees, a music group formed in 2018 in Woodstock, Newâ¯York, consist of vocalist and guitarist Sam Quartin, bassist Kendall Wind, and drummer Macky Bowman. Their debut album, Beautyâ¯Pageant (Februaryâ¯2,â¯2018), introduced the title track "Bobby Lee". In 2019 they released Beautyâ¯Pageantâ¯Redux. The 2020 record Skinâ¯Suit, produced by Jon Spencer, entered the Sanâ¯Francisco Examiner Topâ¯10 Albums of 2020 and received praise from PopMatters. In 2022 they signed to Ipecac Recordings, issued the EP Hollywoodâ¯Junkyard and the album Bellevue (Octoberâ¯7,â¯2022). Following a hiatus announcement, they returned with the single "Napoleon" under Epitaph Records in Octoberâ¯2025 and released their fourth album Newâ¯Self on Juneâ¯12,â¯2026.
