Biography

Sadus, a thrash metal band from Antioch, California, was formed in 1984 by Darren Travis, Rob Moore, Steve DiGiorgio, and Jon Allen. Their debut demo, D.T.P., was released in 1986. Sadus' first full-length album, Ilusions, came out in 1988. They signed with Roadrunner Records and released Swallowed in Black in 1990, touring with Sepultura and Obituary. In 1992, they released A Vision of Misery. The band faced setbacks, including DiGiorgio's involvement with Death and Rob Moore's departure. Sadus continued as a trio and released Elements of Anger in 1998. They reformed in 2015 under Darren Travis’ leadership and sought new members to complete the lineup.
