Remain In Silence are a German darkwave and rock ensemble from Hannover formed in 1983. The group was established by Andreas Buchwald and Andreas Gimpel. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Seven Rooms (1984), followed by Monument (1985). In 1987, they released the studio recording This Is the Place Where Resistance Got Lost. After a period of inactivity, they released the compilation Walk the Moon and Kick Some Shit (1994) and performed as the opening act for Siouxsie and the Banshees. Their discography includes the studio recordings Fountainhead (1995) and The Comfort of Strangers (2001). In 2013, their first two recordings were reissued by Dead Wax Records, leading to a tour in Spain. They released the studio recording ...And the Soul Goes On (2016). Their discography includes the track âRainâ (2014).
