Biography
Pleasurekraft, a Swedish/US-American tech-house DJ duo consisting of Kaveh Soroush and Kalle Ronngardh, formed in 2009. Their breakthrough came with their first track, "Tarantula", which was supported by Pete Tong on his radio show Essential Selection. The song quickly gained traction, reaching Number 1 of the Beatport charts for a month and surpassing notable artists like Joris Voorn and Axwell. Following this success, Pleasurekraft released several EPs including Breastfed (2011) and Carny (2011), as well as their debut album Friends, Lovers, & Other Constellations in 2018. Their remix of Green Velvet's "La La Land" also reached the top ten of the Tech-House charts within a week. Their second album, Love in the Age of Machines, was released in 2020.
