Nik Fish, born in Sydney, is an Australian DJ. His career began in the early 1990s as a radio presenter with his own dance music show called Musiquarium. Nik Fish quickly became a prominent figure in the original rave scene of the 1990s, performing alongside artists such as Carl Cox and The Prodigy. He released his first single, "Universal Tekno", in 1995. Throughout his career, Nik Fish played various musical genres including hip hop, house, rave, and trance, but later championed harder dance styles. His extensive discography includes the single "The Winner Is..." (1994) and the album Fishmix 1 (2000).
