Kevin McKay, born on 24 May, is a Scottish DJ and record producer based in London. He studied at the University of Strathclyde from 1989 to 1995, where he met Andy Carrick and began collaborating on music. In 1997, McKay founded Glasgow Underground Recordings, which initially released tracks by artists like Romanthony and DJ Sneak. He later produced for Linus Loves and Mylo, contributing significantly to their chart successes such as "Stand Back" (2003) and the album Destroy Rock & Roll (2004). His remix of Romanthonyâs "The Wanderer" (2011) notably reached number 14 on Music Week's Cool Cuts chart in May 2011. McKay's solo work included various singles such as "Ease Your Pain" (2013) and "Goin' Freak" (2014).
