Biography

Kausion, an American rap group from Los Angeles, consisted of Cel, Gonzoe, and Kaydo. The trio signed to Ice Cube's Lench Mob Records and released their debut album South Central Los Skanless in 1995. The album reached number 37 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and number 23 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers. Notable singles from the album included "Land Of The Skanless" and "What You Wanna Do?". In 1996, Kausion disbanded, with their final appearances including a collaboration with Tha Dogg Pound on the song "I'll Do It" from the Supercop soundtrack. The group's second album, Youth-Anasia, was released in 2020, via Blokkwise Entertainment. Gonzoe passed away on July 30, 2021, after being shot in Seattle.
