Biography
Stanley Petey Cox, known as Mistah F.A.B., was born on January 23, 1982, in Oakland, California. Cox began a music career in the late 1990s and gained prominence through the Thizz Nation mixtape compilations. In 2004, Cox signed to Thizz Entertainment and released the debut album Nig-Latin (2002), followed by Son of a Pimp (2005). Despite controversy regarding the single âGhost Ride Itâ (2007), Cox released albums including Da Baydestrian (2007) and mixtapes such as Play Time Is Over (2008) and I Am the Bridge (2009). Cox is known for battle rap skills and defeated MCs including Clyde Carson and Royce Da 5'9. Cox co-wrote charting singles such as âHeadbandâ (2013) by B.o.B and âLoyalâ (2014) by Chris Brown, which won Best Hip Hop Song of the Year at the 2014 Soul Train Awards. Solo recordings also include Son of a Pimp Part 2 (2016).
