Biography

Jean-Claude Ades, born in Germany in 1972, is an electronic music producer who has resided and worked in Italy, France, and Spain. He began his career as a DJ at the age of 16 and released his first single under the artist name J.C.A. in 1995. In 2002, he changed his stage name to Krystal K and gained prominence with the release of "Let's Get It Right", which reached number 40 on the Billboard Dance chart in 2004. Ades founded his own label, B!CRAZY, in 2006, which later became an entertainment venue in Ibiza. He achieved significant success with collaborations such as co-writing and producing Dannii Minogue's hit "I Begin to Wonder" under the pseudonym J.C.A., along with other tracks like "Come And Get It", "Feel Like I Do", and "Free Falling". His notable remixes include works for The Nightcrawlers' "Push The Feeling On" and Tomcraft's "Da Disco". In 2008, Ades gained worldwide popularity with the release of "Shingaling", a collaboration with French producer Thomas Vincent. He has continued to produce music and release mixtape podcasts since the COVID-19 pandemic, residing in Mykonos, Greece, from 2019 onwards.
