An emo revival band formed in Palm Coast, Florida, in 2017, Home Is Where revolves around Bea MacDonald (vocals, harmonica, musical saw and more), Tilley Komorny (guitar, banjo, mandolin among others), Connor O'Brien (bass) and Josiah Gardella (drums). Following the release of a debut EP in 2019, Our Mouths to Smile, the album I Became Birds, released in 2021, reveals the band's emo, folk-punk and post-hardcore palette, attracting the attention of audiences and critics alike, who hail their originality. In 2022, Home Is Where shared the Dissection Lesson EP with Record Setter, a band from Denton (Texas), before going their own way with the albums The Whaler (2023) and Hunting Season (2025).
