Biography

An alternative rock band formed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2015, The Haunt brings together brother and sister Maxamillion Haunt (guitar, vocals, production) and Anastasia Grace Haunt (vocals, piano). The latter, who wanted to become a singer as a child, began performing at the age of nine, and her brother soon followed suit. Initially christened AnastasiaMax, in 2018 the duo opted for The Haunt and released their first namesake EP, followed by tours with Palaye Royale. Singles follow, as do the EPs Social Intercourse (2021), Dead on Arrival (2023) and Do Not Ressuscitate (2024), in a palette of alternative styles where pop punk, emo and post-hardcore intersect. In 2024, the single "Masochistic Lovers" reaches number 34 on the US Mainstream Rock chart.
