Biography
Pool Kids, a math rock and emo band from Tallahassee, Florida, was formed in December 2016 by lead vocalist and guitarist Christine Goodwyne, with Andy Anaya (guitar), Nicolette Alvarez (bass) and Caden Clinton (drums). Their debut album Music to Practice Safe Sex To (2018) gained recognition after being shared by Paramore's Hayley Williams. In February 2020, Pool Kids released a music video for "$5 Subtweet" and toured with The Wonder Years before the COVID-19 pandemic. They released their second studio album Pool Kids (2022) preceded by the single "That's Physics, Baby". In 2023, they supported La Dispute on tour and played a sold-out show at X-Ray Arcade in Cudahy, Wisconsin. On August 15, 2025, Pool Kids released their third full-length, Easier Said Than Done.
