Football, etc. is an American midwest emo band from Houston, Texas, formed in 2009 by James Vehslage, Lindsay Minton, and Mercy Harper. Their initial breakthrough came with the release of the four-song EP First Down (2009), followed by signing to Count Your Lucky Stars Records the same year. In 2010, they released the self-titled EP Football, etc. (2010). Their debut full-length album The Draft (2011) was released on Count Your Lucky Stars and Strictly No Capital Letters. Notable releases include the split EP Football, etc./Empire Empire (I Was A Lonely Estate) (2009), the split EP Football, etc./Plaids (2013), and their second full-length album Audible (2013). The band also released the EP Disappear (2015), the album Corner (2017), and the EP Vision (2022).
