Biography
Gaz Fabilouss, born in Kinshasa, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo), is a Congolese rapper, producer, bandleader, lyricist and record executive. He is considered one of the most influential Congolese rappers, with a style mixing derision, humor, rivalry and social commentary. He made a name for himself in 2016 with his debut single"You-p-yeah". The following year, he released the Nyamanitude mixtape, including the track"Tika Makolo Na Nga". In May 2018, he unveiled the single Zuwa, which enjoyed national success. In July of the same year, he released the"Jeune Courageux" EP, from which came the tracks"Aye" with Koffi Olomide,"Salaire" and"Mwasi Nzambe" in collaboration with Hamisa Mobetto. In 2019, he released his first studio album"Balle réele koleki-satan", followed in 2023 by his second album, Glissement. Founder of the Jeunes Courageux label, he continues to impose his influence on the Congolese music scene, notably with the release of the single"Nde Nini" in March 2024.
