Joé Ngoie Mwema, aka RJ Kanierra, was born on August 9, 1984 in Kolwezi, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). Passionate about music from an early age, he began his career in 1999 in his hometown. In 2006, he released his first album, Les Treize Lois de la Jungle, blending hip-hop and R&B with tracks such as"VK" and"Vuluba". Two years later, he recorded"Aina Lawa", asserting that success is based on hard work, not superstition. In 2011, he returned with the album 99. He achieves international fame with the single Tia, which goes viral and attracts the attention of Fally Ipupa. He followed this up with Trône Remix (feat. Koch Laa) and Lela (released on August 9, 2024), consolidating his status as an icon of Katangan music with his unique Rotatam Style
