Biography

Rapper and author Frank Quantin Sojip, known as Sojip, was born in the 1990s in Bafoussam, Cameroon. After graduating in engineering in 2012, Sojip turned his attention to rap, influenced in particular by Krotal. The rapper joined the hip-hop label Helium Protect, and made a name for himself with the remix of the song "Je Ne Suis Pas Bobo" by Nernos in 2016. He confirms the test the year with his "Lettre à Mon Ex", his punchlines seducing as much as his "Kwata Spirit" concept. This makes him a revelation on the local hip-hop scene. In 2018, he joined the Big Dreams Entertainement label, and released his first single "Même camp (freestyle)". He addresses young Cameroonians with the single "9 fort", meaning you've failed your exams by the skin of your teeth... This track is featured on the eight-track album released in 2020, MVP, on which we find the tracks "Ça me tchop" or "Percé" about the struggle of his disabled sister. In 2022, he appears on Styfler90's single "Voler" . In 2023, he returned with the single "Ça dort".
