Die Cappuccinos are a GermanâDutch pop and schlager group formed in 2007 through a contest initiated by singer Kristina Bach and the magazine SUPERillu, comprising Dutch brothers René and Michèl Ursinus, Peter Brückner, and Robert Kaufmann; the band debuted with the selfâtitled album Die Cappuccinos on 24â¯Aprilâ¯2009, produced largely by Kristina Bach, and shortly thereafter received the Herbert Roth Prize for young groups. Their second release, Ungeküsst, entered the German charts at number 47 in 2010, while Party auf dem Mond peaked at number 33 in 2011. In 2013 the group issued Wie Geil Ist das Denn, which included the single "Wie geil ist das denn?", and continued to release Best Of (2014), Zusammen Stark (2015) and Krasse Zeit (2018). Singles such as "Rosanne" (2015) extended their catalog. The band achieved milestones, including a 2019 world record for the most autographs given in three minutes, and received awards such as the Golden Tulip for Best Newcomer (2010) and the smago! Award for Most Successful Schlager Group (2011). After Robert Kaufmannâs departure in 2014, Die Cappuccinos maintained an active touring schedule, released a video album Zusammen Stark, Curacao Holland unter Palmen (2016), and continued to chart within the German pop scene through the late 2010s.
