Biography
Deformer is a Dutch electronic music project led by music producer Mike Redman. Redman started his career in the early 1990s under the name FXecute before changing the name to Deformer in 1995. Their debut album, FXecutioners (1999), received critical acclaim. Notable releases included Revolution Theory (2005), which featured a hidden track, and the audiovisual project album Videopacolypz (2011). Deformer collaborated with artists such as Public Enemy and Charles Band, producing the collaborative album Full Moon Deformed (2014) with the latter. The project performed at festivals like Lowlands and Outlook, sharing the stage with acts like Amon Tobin. In 2006, Deformer won the Best Dance Act award. Redman also released the album Hybrid (2012).
