Darkbuster, an American punk rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, was formed in 1996 by singer/guitarist Lenny Lashley, drummer Eric Edmonston, and bassist Mike Gurley. The group quickly gained a local following with their debut album 22 Songs You'll Never Want To Hear Again! released in 1999. In 2000, the band added guitarist Paul Delano and drummer Danny O'Halloran, winning the WBCN Rock & Roll Rumble that year. Darkbuster's discography includes notable releases such as A Weakness For Spirits (2005) and No Revolution (2015). The band is known for their humorous and irreverent lyrics, often focusing on themes of heavy drinking and local punk culture. Although the band stopped performing in the mid-2000s, Darkbuster reunited for a series of sold-out concerts in 2015.
