Biography

Voodoo Glow Skulls is an American ska punk band formed in 1988 in Riverside, California, by brothers Frank, Eddie, and Jorge Casillas along with Jerry O'Neill. The group initially played at local venues like Spanky's Café. Their first recording was a four-song demo in 1989, followed by the EP The Old of Tomorrow (1990). In 1993, Voodoo Glow Skulls released their debut album Who Is, This Is? on Dr. Strange Records, which caught the attention of Brett Gurewitz from Epitaph Records. The band subsequently signed with Epitaph and released several albums, including Firme (1995) and Baile de los Locos (1997). They embarked on worldwide tours. Notable songs include "Shoot the Moon" from Firme, featured in the film Bio-Dome.
