Christopher Robinson, known professionally as Cesar Comanche, was born on November 18, 1976, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He began his rap career in 1994 and started pursuing it seriously in 1996 after meeting producer 9th Wonder. That same year, he began performing live and recording songs. In 1999, Comanche and 9th Wonder organized the Justus League crew with other industry colleagues from the Triangle area. He independently released his debut solo album Wooden Nickels in 2000, followed by Paper Gods in 2002. His subsequent albums include Squirrel and the Aces (2005), Die In Your Lap (2009), and Like a Night In the Thief (2014). Comanche collaborated on numerous projects, including Little Brother's The Listening LP, 9th Wonder's National Mayhem triple album, and Eternia's It's Called Life LP.
