Kamaarphial Moye, known professionally as Supastition, is an American rapper born in Greenville, North Carolina, in 1976. He initially recorded under the moniker Blackmel before adopting the name Supastition. His breakthrough came with the release of "Broke Man's Anthem" and "Battle Cry", produced by himself for Rasco's Pockets Linted Entertainment label. In 2004, Supastition gained national recognition when his collaboration "The Williams" with Nicolay was featured on Okayplayer Records' True Notes Vol. 1. This led to the release of critically acclaimed releases The Deadline (2004) and Chain Letters (2005) under Soulspazm Records, which included production from Nicolay, Jake One, !llmind, and M-Phazes. These releases garnered praise in publications like XXL and The Source, allowing Supastition to tour internationally.
