Brian Robert Doerksen, born November 17, 1965, in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, is a Canadian Christian singer-songwriter and worship leader. He graduated from the Mennonite Educational Institute in 1983 and joined the staff of the Langley Vineyard Christian Fellowship as the worship pastor in his early twenties. Doerksen's career began with contributions to various Vineyard Music Group albums, including Changed by Your Glory (1989) and Hear Our Cry (1990). He gained prominence through notable songs such as "Refiner's Fire" (1990), "Light the Fire Again" (1994), and "Come Now is the Time to Worship" (1998). Doerksen released several albums under Integrity Music, including You Shine (2002) and Holy God (2006), which won a Juno Award in 2008. He received a Gospel Music Association Dove Award in 2003 and multiple Covenant Awards throughout his career.
