Biography
Sonicflood, a contemporary worship music band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 1997 as Zilch and released their debut album Platinum on Gotee Records that year. In 1998, Jeff Deyo took over lead vocals, and the band rebranded as Sonicflood. They released their eponymous debut under this name in 1999. The album peaked at number 2 on the Heatseekers Chart and featured two Number 1 hits on Christian radio: "I Want to Know You" (written by Andy Park) and "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever" (written by Martin Smith of Delirious?). The band earned notable acclaim, including two Dove Awards, three further nominations, and a Grammy nomination.
