Paul Camillo Schroeder, known professionally as âApardeâ (born 1987 in Wolgast), is a German electronica and techno producer, vocalist, and DJ. Schroeder began his musical education at age nine, studying drums at the Musikschule Wolgast for nearly a decade. Influenced by Deftones and Radiohead, he developed an atmospheric style spanning deep house, progressive house, and melodic techno. He debuted in 2010 with the record Distance, followed by the 2011 release Goldene Barrikaden. Schroeder subsequently released the studio albums Glass (2017), Hands Rest (2019), and Alliance (2021). His later discography includes the albums Ambivalent (2024), Saddest Boy Alive (2024), and Issues (2025). A prolific remixer, Schroeder reinterpreted tracks for Christian Löffler and Joris Voorn, and collaborated with Michael Miethig, known as âINNELLEAâ.
