Stefano Musso, known professionally as Alio Die, was born on March 24, 1968, in Italy. He is recognized for his work as a composer of ambient music. Musso began performing music in 1989 after studying art and electronics in Milan. His debut studio album Under An Holy Ritual was released in 1992, marking the start of his prolific career. Throughout the 1990s and beyond, Alio Die released a series of albums that blended acoustic elements with electronic sound design, including The Door Of Possibilities and Suspended Feathers. Notable collaborations include works with Robert Rich on Fissures (1997) and Vidna Obmana on Echo Passage (2000). Alio Die's music often incorporates meditative and spiritual themes, as noted by Label Press. His discography spans over two decades, with significant releases such as Password For Entheogenic Experience (1998), Il Tempo Magico Di Saturnia Pavonia (2003), and Aura Seminalis (2008).
