Biography

Yves Deruyter, born on May 4, 1970 in Belgium, is a DJ known for his contributions to electronic music. He began his DJ career in 1985, performing at various Belgian clubs such as Globe and Barocci. In 1992, Yves Deruyter signed with Bonzai Records and released his debut single "Animals", which became a significant club hit in Belgium. His subsequent singles "Rave City" (1993) and "Calling Earth" (1994) achieved notable success, particularly in the German market, with sales exceeding 50,000 and 70,000 copies respectively. Yves Deruyter's breakthrough came with the single "The Rebel", which led to the LP D-Album released in 1999. Throughout his career, Yves Deruyter has performed at major events including Mayday, Love Parade, and Tomorrowland. He has also released several albums under various labels, including Feel Free (2001), Yves Deruyter 2001 (2004), and D-Classics (2007). In addition to his solo work, Yves Deruyter collaborated with hit producer Mike "M.I.K.E. Push" Dierickx on several projects.
