Biography
Yoomiii was founded in Germany in 2006 as a pop band put together by the TV station Super RTL. The band performed from 2006 to 2008 and combined pop, dance-pop and bubblegum dance. The group consists of Bouchra Nisha Tjon Pon Fong (born April 28, 1983 in Utrecht, Netherlands), Kristin Siegel (born October 7, 1986 in Leipzig, Germany) and Nina Alexandra Filipp (born May 10, 1984 in Hamburg, Germany). The first record is the album Here We Are (2006). Singles released include "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" (2006) and "A Kiss Is All I Miss" (2006). The debut album reaches chart positions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The single "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" is also placed in several countries. The album Let the Music Play and the single "Rhythm of Love" follow in 2007. The band also released the DVD Yoomiii the Movie in 2006. The band disbanded again in 2008.
