Biography
Banaroo were created in 2005 as a result of the German reality TV Show 'Banaroo: Das Star Tagebuch'. They enjoyed European-wide success with their debut single, 'Dubi Dam Dam' and all their songs were sung in English.
Baneroo released two albums in 2005, 'Baneroo's World' and 'Christmas World'. In 2006 they released the album 'Amazing'. The band's 2007 album 'Fly Away' featured another hit in 'Ba Yanga Wanga'. After disappointing sales, the band split up in 2008.
In 2013, Banaroo reformed with four new members Doro Farkas, Laura Luppino, Alvin Philipps and Daniel Langer. The new band released a new version of 'Dubi Dam Dam' and the album 'Bubblegum World' in 2013, but with limited commercial success, resulting in the band breaking up again.
