Biography
Yinon Yahel (born August 26, 1978) is an Israeli music producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist recognized for his contributions to pop and electronic dance music. Yahel began his professional career at age 14 as the keyboardist for the teen rock group Eman, which became the youngest to sign a major record deal in Israel in 1993. In 2002, he initiated a long-term collaboration with DJ Offer Nissim and vocalist Maya Simantov, producing projects including the 2005 album First Time. By 2006, Yahel was frequently commissioned for official remixes for international artists such as Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, and Deborah Cox. In 2015, Yahel achieved significant acclaim by producing the Israeli Eurovision Song Contest entry âGolden Boyâ, performed by Nadav Guedj. That same year, he collaborated with Madonna on a remix of the single âLiving for Loveâ for her album Rebel Heart. His discography includes the singles âSweatâ (2015) and âDonât Waitâ (2018). Yahel continued his Eurovision involvement by producing âFeker Libiâ for Eden Alene in 2020 and co-writing Noa Kirelâs âUnicornâ, which reached number 3 in the 2023 contest. In 2023, he co-launched the record label Session42.
