Xavier Dang, better known by the pseudonym mistermv, was born on August 26, 1980, in Clichy, France, and is a French streamer, videographer, host, and musician specializing in video games and speedrunning. He began composing music at age 18 and started his career by founding Hellven, a netlabel that released over a hundred singles and albums, including works from Andrew Sega and Jake Kaufman. He composed several video game soundtracks in the early 2000s, such as Crazy Frog Racer and Western Lords. In 2019, he released his album Pixelated Timeline, showcasing his compositions that span ambient and chiptune genres. His music has been featured on various platforms, including Brave Wave Productions' compilation World 1-2, which also features other video game composers such as Ben Prunty, Chipzel, Akira Yamaoka, and Manami Matsumae. In March 2021, he streamed a concert by Danger on his channel, inspired by the video games Haven and Furi, for which Danger composed the soundtracks.
