Biography
CroÃthe is an Irish post-punk revival and shoegaze band from Dublin, formed by Caodán Connolly (vocals, guitar), Ben Byrne (guitar), David "DJ" Barron (bass) and Keevy McGowan (drums). Inspired by the original post-punk and shoegaze trends of the 1990s, the quartet released the self-produced singles "The Kiss" and "Icarus" in 2024, followed by "Soldier", "The Lovers", "Feed My Head" and "I Heard, I Saw" in 2025. These last three tracks, along with the previously unreleased "The Diver", are included on the debut EP A Brief Respite, released on October 31, 2025 and ranked #97 on the IRMA Top 100 albums chart in Ireland.
