Biography
Volxsturm was a German Oi! band formed in 1991 in Schwerin. The group's early years were marked by several lineup changes and a unique blend of punk rock, which they termed "chaos rock'n'roll." Their debut EP Oi! was released in 1994, followed by their first full-length album Oi! Is Fun! in 1996. Volxsturm continued to release albums such as Mach Die Augen Auf (1998) and Bi Uns To Hus... (2002). The band achieved chart success with their 2015 album Massenuntauglich. Volxsturm disbanded after a final concert in Eberswalde in December 2019. Its last lineup included Boris Büschler, Robert Köster, and Thomas Wolf.
