Singer Axel Kurth subsequently released a few songs under his pseudonym XLQ. At the end of 2009, Wizo reunited with a slightly different line-up. Thorsten Schwämmle now plucks the bass. The comeback album reaches number 29 in Germany. Just two years later, Wizo released DER. The longplayer reaches the top 20 of the charts in both Germany (number 11) and Austria (number 13). After that, it takes a while again until Nichts wird wieder gut (2023) is released. The album reaches number 51 in the German charts.
