Stomper 98 is an Oi! and street punk band from Germany that was founded in 1998. The EP Stomper 98 was released in the year the band was founded. The band then made a name for itself through live concerts. in 2003, Stomper 98 released their debut album Jetzt erst recht. Further albums followed with Für die Ewigkeit (2007), Tage deiner Jugend (2008), the best-of album ...4 the Die Hards (2009) and ...bis hierher! (2012) were followed by further albums. After a brief creative break, Stomper 98 entered the German charts for the first time in 2018 with the album Althergebracht at number 69. The band released the self-titled album Stomper 98 to mark the 25th anniversary of the band, which climbed to number 13 in the German charts.
