Biography
Sondaschule is a ska-punk band from Germany founded in 1999. The EP Lieber Einen Paffen (2002) was followed in the same year by the punk band's debut album Klasse 1A. Subsequently, the band regularly released songs and albums and made a name for themselves as an excellent live band. In 2012, Sondaschule made it into the German charts for the first time with the album Lass Es Uns Tun at number 81. With the follow-up Schön kaputt, Sondaschule made it into the German top 10 at number 8 in 2015. The band also achieved this with the next album Schere, Stein, Papier (2017) at number 7. In 2020, the band released Lost Tapes 2 (number 52 in Germany), a compilation of previously unreleased tracks. In 2021, longtime guitarist Daniel Junker passes away. The release of the album Unbesiegbar is therefore postponed until 2022. Sondaschule reaches number 2 with the longplayer, the highest position in the German album charts to date. Sondaschule achieved another number 2 in the German charts with the album Wir bleiben wach, which was released at the end of September 2025.
