Vitaminsforyou, a Canadian electronic music project led by Bryce Kushnier, originated in Winnipeg and later operated from Toronto. Kushnier began creating music in 1998, fusing electronica, acoustic folk, and psychedelia using his home computer. His early releases included the album I'm Sorry Forever and for Always (2003) and the EP Désolé monsieur soleil, câest la neige qui va me libérer (2005). In 2006, Vitaminsforyou released The Legend of Bird's Hill, which combined live drum beats with electronic rhythms. The project's 2009 album, he closed his eyes so he could dance with you, featured a more dance-oriented sound and was supported by tours including an appearance at the Ness Creek Festival. Kushnier collaborated with various artists such as Lullabye Arkestra, Mitchell Akiyama, and Emm Gryner.
