Biography

Tyske Ludder is a German electronic music band formed in 1989, originating from the collaboration between Claus Albers and Olaf A. Reimers, who met during their school years. Initially known as Der Kleine Rosa Plüschelefant, Der Kleiner Haben Wollte, they transitioned to an all-electronic format circa 1989 and adopted the name Tyske Ludder. Their debut album, Bombt die Mörder?, was released in 1994 under KM-Musik, addressing themes of right-wing extremism and civil war. The band's second album, Dalmarnock, followed in 1995. After a hiatus from 1996 to 2003, Tyske Ludder resumed activities with the release of Sojus in 2006 under Black Rain Records. Notable live performances include appearances at Infest Festival (2008), Wave-Gotik-Treffen (2009), and M'era Luna Festival (2009). The band's sound evolved to incorporate more complex ideas, resulting in albums such as Anonymous (2009), Diaspora (2011), and Evolution (2015). In 2014, Jay Taylor joined the band.
