TV Mania was a British-American electronic duo from London and New York, formed in 1995. The duo consisted of the keyboardist Nick Rhodes and the guitarist Warren Cuccurullo, both members of the band Duran Duran. The duo was established to explore electronic and experimental music during a period of reduced activity for their primary group. The duo recorded over 60 compositions, though the material remained unreleased for nearly two decades. Several tracks were eventually reworked for the Duran Duran studio albums Medazzaland (1997) and Pop Trash (2000). In 2013, following the recovery of the master tapes, the duo issued its debut studio album, Bored with Prozac and the Internet?, through The Vinyl Factory. The release was available on vinyl and as a limited edition box set. The duo became inactive in 2001 following Cuccurulloâs departure from Duran Duran.
