Biography
Torsun & The Stereotronics (formed in 2021, in Germany) was an electropunk and synth-pop group. The ensemble was established by Thorsten âTorsunâ Burkhardt, Christian Schilgen, and Sina Synapse following the inactivity of the band Egotronic. The projectâs recording career began with the single "Alles neu" (2023). In May 2023, the trio released its debut studio album, Songs to Discuss in Therapy, through Audiolith Records. The recording integrated elements of techno, computerspielmusik, and electropunk. The ensemble gained recognition for an interactive music project allowing fans to contribute recordings to the single "Songs to Discuss in Therapy". Discography included the singles "D.A.R.E." and "Bonusleben". The latter was released after Burkhardt publicly disclosed a terminal cancer diagnosis and underwent palliative chemotherapy. The group became inactive following Burkhardtâs death on 30 December 2023.
