Biography

Thorsten Flinck, born on April 17, 1961, in Solna, Sweden, is a Swedish actor and musician. He began his musical journey in 1977 with the band Rockvindar ("Rock Winds"), releasing their debut album Första gången in 1980. In 2005, Flinck released Vildvuxna rosor, featuring covers of songs by Björn Afzelius and Nick Cave, among others, with the band Flincka Fingrar. In 2008, he formed Thorsten Flinck & Revolutionsorkestern, releasing their self-titled album in 2011. The band participated in Melodifestivalen 2012 with "Jag reser mig igen", placing eighth overall. Flinck's subsequent albums include En dans på knivens egg (2012) and Till flickorna på Upplandsgatan 71 (2014). His notable singles include "Hjärtats slutna rum" (2011) and "Min vackre son" (2005).
