Biography

Thomas Lemmer, born on April 15, 1977, in Marburg/Lahn, Germany, is a musician, composer, and record producer. He received classical piano training as a youth, followed by an education in church organ playing. In 1995, Thomas Lemmer formed the duo diPOLAR with Elke Ludwig. His solo career began in 2009 with the album Chillout Lounge, which included the track "Fatigué" featured on Café del Mar – Volume 16. Lemmer's subsequent albums, such as Relieve (2011) and Still (2013), showcased his versatility in downtempo, ambient, and trip-hop genres. Notable collaborations include projects with Motif, featuring songs like "Give it away" sung by Hannah Magenta, and various EPs and albums with artists such as Christoph Sebastian Pabst and Andreas Bach. In 2022, Thomas Lemmer released Hope, his first album in immersive Dolby Atmos format.
