Biography

The Smith Street Band, an Australian rock band from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in 2010. Their debut EP South East Facing Wall was released in January 2011, followed by their first album No One Gets Lost Anymore later that year. The band's second album, Sunshine & Technology, came out in August 2012 and marked the beginning of their "Young Drunks" tour. In October 2014, they released Throw Me in the River. Notable singles include "Surrender" (2014) and "Wipe That Shit-Eating Grin Off Your Punchable Face" (2015). Following the release of More Scared ofYou Than You Are of Me (2017) followed Don't Waste Your Anger (2020), and Live After Football (2022). The band composed of Wil Wagner (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Lee Hartney (guitar), Jess Locke (keyboards), Michael Fitzgerald (bass) and Matt Bodiam (drums) released their seventh studio album Once I Was Wild in November 2025.
