Biography

Camp Cope was an Australian alternative rock band formed in 2015 in Melbourne. The group consisted of Georgia "Georgia Maq" McDonald on vocals and guitar, Kelly-Dawn "Kelso" Hellmrich on bass, and Sarah "Thomo" Thompson on drums. Their debut album Camp Cope was released in April 2016 on Poison City Records, entering the ARIA albums chart at number 36. The band won the Heatseeker Award at the inaugural National Live Music Awards that year. In March 2018, they released their second album How to Socialise & Make Friends, followed by extensive tours across Australia, the United States, and Europe. Camp Cope disbanded in February 2023, concluding with a series of final performances later that year.
